Since the day Land of Beds was set up, our mission has always remained the same: "to help as many people as possible sleep better," and we are driven by this goal every day. Our ethos also remains the same: to always supply excellent service, quality products, and the correct, unbiased expert advice and guidance tailored to your specific needs.
Rich in history, our business started nearly 50 years ago when our founder, Harold Murray, set up a home furniture business in 1974. He envisioned creating a place where people could find their dream bed. Passing the business over to his eldest son, Michael, in 1985, they developed several furniture stores across Cheshire. Land of Beds continues to be a third-generation family business today. Michael (Jr.) joined the company in 2008, helping Land of Beds launch its first e-commerce website to offer customers.
With a lot of hard work and determination, word quickly spread about the quality of the goods and the exceptional service both online and in-store. Over time, the business grew, and we have now become a trusted name in the bedding industry. Our passion for quality and comfort has never wavered, and we continue to provide our customers with the best beds and the best sleep possible.
