Vs divan beds: Bed frames sit raised off the floor and allow air to circulate beneath the mattress. Divan sets sit lower to the floor and are usually paired with a matched mattress. A metal bedstead like this one offers a more decorative, open look, while divan sets give a more integrated, upholstered finish and often include storage.
Vs wooden and fabric frames: Metal frames have a lighter, more open profile that helps smaller rooms feel spacious. Wooden frames feel warmer and more substantial in appearance, while upholstered frames are softer to the touch and lean against. A painted metal bedstead is the natural choice for a period, cottage or romantic bedroom style.
Vs other frames in the range: Traditional metal bedsteads sit at an accessible price point within the Land of Beds bed frame range. Compared with upholstered or storage frames, they focus on decorative styling and a lighter footprint rather than built-in storage or padded headboards.
A mattress is not included with the Sloane Stone White Metal Bed Frame. Any standard UK mattress fits. If you would prefer a matched recommendation, the following mattresses have been selected to work with this base.
