It's built around 1200 individually pocketed springs with natural comfort layers of cashgora wool, silk, wool and cotton, finished in a soft damask cover - no foam, no synthetics in the comfort layers. This is an easycare mattress, which means you do not need to turn the mattress over, however you should rotate from head to toe on a regular basis to ensure even use.
