The Storaway is a platform top divan base from Relyon, made in the UK from FSC certified timber and upholstered in a range of fabrics. Instead of drawers, the Storaway uses the full cavity beneath the platform top as one large storage space, concealed behind upholstered valances that lift to give access to bulky items such as bedding, luggage and seasonal clothing. A mattress and headboard are not included - the Storaway base is compatible with any standard UK mattress and is backed by an 8-year guarantee.

Storaway Storage with Upholstered Valances
What it is: The full interior cavity beneath the platform top is left open as a single large storage space, enclosed by upholstered valances that lift up to provide access.

A bed base alone is the better choice when you already have a mattress you want to keep, when you want to choose base and mattress from different brands, or when you are replacing a base that has worn out while the mattress remains in good condition. Vs a platform top vs a sprung base: Platform top bases provide a firm, flat surface and are compatible with all mattress types including memory foam, latex, and pocket sprung. When we remove your old bed or mattress, we ensure that it is disposed of in an environmentally responsible way. All products are sent to The Furniture Recycling Company, the UK's largest and most trusted furniture recyclers.
Put your screwdriver down and your feet up! Our fully-trained assembly specialists can set up your new bed in your room of choice. All we require is that the room is clear.

What beds do you offer assembly on?
We offer bed assembly on all divan beds and electric adjustable beds. We currently do not offer assembly on any flat pack beds, such as bed frames, bunk beds, guest beds etc. ... these will all come with instructions and take approx. 60 minutes to build.
How long does bed assembly take?
The time it takes depends on the type of bed. Divan beds take two people approximately 30 – 45 minutes, and adjustable beds take about 1 hour.
What happens during bed assembly?
Assembly is carried out on the day of delivery. Our team will carry the product to your room of choice, unpack, inspect it, and assemble it. This service takes two people on average 30 – 45 minutes. We will also take away all packaging and recycle it.
