Its fabric-covered wooden platform gives a firm, even surface across the full mattress that suits pocket sprung, memory foam and latex mattresses, and the base is available with a choice of drawer, half ottoman and end opening ottoman storage. What it is: A wooden platform upholstered in fabric, covering the full area of the base.
How it helps you: Provides a firm, even surface that supports the mattress consistently across its full area, without any flex or variation - useful for memory foam and latex mattresses that benefit from a stable, unmoving base.
Drawer Storage
What it is: A choice of 2 or 4 full size drawers, with 2+2 continental drawers on Double and larger sizes, pairing two full size drawers with two smaller drawers at the head end.
How it helps you: Provides convenient storage space for bedding, clothing and bedroom essentials. The 2+2 continental option allows the head-end drawers to open even when a bedside table sits alongside the bed, which a full size drawer cannot.
Ottoman Storage

We decided to add continental drawers to this base so we could store regularly used items, like iPads and books, in an easily accessible place. This meant no clutter on our bedside tables. We were able to choose the colour and type of material for the base in keeping with the colour scheme of the room which was great. This was delivered to our room of choice with our new mattress and both were unpacked and assembled. Fabulous service and product all round. What beds do you offer assembly on?
We offer bed assembly on all divan beds and electric adjustable beds. We currently do not offer assembly on any flat pack beds, such as bed frames, bunk beds, guest beds etc. ... these will all come with instructions and take approx. 60 minutes to build.
How long does bed assembly take?
The time it takes depends on the type of bed. Divan beds take two people approximately 30 – 45 minutes, and adjustable beds take about 1 hour.
What happens during bed assembly?
Assembly is carried out on the day of delivery. Our team will carry the product to your room of choice, unpack, inspect it, and assemble it. This service takes two people on average 30 – 45 minutes. We will also take away all packaging and recycle it.
