Vs softer models: The Alexandra Comfort is built around a firm 5/6 tension, meaning it keeps the body flatter and better supported than medium or soft mattresses. If you tend to sleep on your back or front, or you have found softer mattresses leave you waking with lower back discomfort, the firmer feel here is likely to suit you better. Side sleepers may find a medium or soft option more comfortable at the shoulders and hips.
Vs firmer models: Compared to extra firm options, the Alexandra Comfort still provides genuine support while the Comfort Breathe Fibre and quilted cover add a layer of comfort. If you want the most rigid, minimal-sink surface possible, an extra firm mattress may be worth considering. For most firm-preference sleepers, the Alexandra Comfort strikes a practical balance.
Vs premium ranges: The Alexandra Comfort shares Silentnight's Mirapocket spring technology with higher-end models in the range. The difference typically comes in the depth of the comfort layers and the number of fillings rather than any compromise in the quality of the core spring system. If you want more plush cushioning on top of that firm support, stepping up the range adds comfort layers without sacrificing the underlying construction quality.
The Alexandra Comfort is backed by Silentnight's 5 year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Built in Great Britain and designed for durability, this is a mattress made to maintain its support over time - the guarantee reflects that confidence.
The Alexandra Comfort delivers firm, reliable support through Silentnight's Mirapocket spring system, paired with breathable eco-friendly Comfort Breathe Fibre and a hypoallergenic cover. If you are a back or front sleeper, share a bed, or simply want a supportive mattress built to last with a reduced environmental footprint, this is a strong contender.
