The Simba Performance Mattress Protector is a quilted cotton mattress protector designed to keep your mattress fresh and protected while adding a soft extra layer of comfort to your bed. Its breathable 200TC cotton surface is quilted over a cushioning fill and bound at the edges for a neat, premium finish, while a wash-resistant anti-dust mite treatment helps create a cleaner, hypoallergenic sleep surface that keeps working wash after wash. The result is a soft, breathable protector that helps prolong the life of your mattress, fits mattresses up to 40cm deep with its four-way stretch fitted sheet style skirt, and is easy to look after at home, being machine washable at 40°C and suitable to tumble dry on low.
The Simba Performance Mattress Protector is a quilted, breathable cotton mattress protector with a wash-resistant anti-dust mite treatment, designed to fit mattresses up to 40cm deep.
A quilted cotton mattress protector best suited to allergy sufferers and those with a new or premium mattress who want a cleaner, hypoallergenic sleep surface and a soft extra layer of comfort.
Protection Level - Quilted / Anti-Dust Mite: This protector forms a soft, breathable barrier between you and your mattress that helps deter dust mites and guards against everyday wear, rather than a waterproof seal against liquid spills.

Quilted Cotton Top Layer
What it is: A soft, breathable 200TC cotton fabric quilted over a cushioning fill and bound at the edges for a neat, premium finish.
How it helps you sleep: Adds a soft, comfortable layer between your mattress and fitted sheet, while the natural breathability of cotton allows air and moisture to pass through, helping you stay at a comfortable temperature through the night.
Wash-Resistant Anti-Dust Mite Treatment
What it is: A treatment applied to the protector that is designed to deter dust mites, made to be wash resistant so it continues to work after repeated laundering.
How it helps you sleep: Reduces your exposure to dust mites, which are a leading trigger of asthma, rhinitis and eczema, creating a cleaner, hypoallergenic sleep surface that is particularly helpful for allergy sufferers.
Fitted Sheet Style Skirt with Four-Way Stretch
What it is: A fitted sheet style design that pulls down over your mattress, with a four-way stretch skirt that fits mattresses up to 40cm deep.
How it helps you sleep: Gives a snug fit that stays securely in place through the night, even on deeper mattresses, and is quick and easy to remove when it's time for a wash.

Vs a waterproof mattress protector: A waterproof protector uses a membrane beneath the top surface to stop liquid reaching your mattress, making it the better choice for young children, pets or anyone who needs protection against accidents and spills. A quilted cotton protector like this one focuses on softness, breathability and allergy protection instead, so it suits those who want a comfortable, natural-feel surface and don't need a liquid barrier. Browse our full range of mattress protectors to compare protection types.
Vs a thin, non-quilted protector: A thin protector sits flat against the mattress and is lighter to handle, but adds little to the feel of your bed. A quilted protector adds a soft layer of cushioning and a more premium feel, while still fitting just as easily as a fitted sheet.
Vs an entry-level protector: Entry-level protectors offer basic protection at a lower price, typically with a simpler fabric and no added treatments. The extra investment here buys a quilted cotton surface, a wash-resistant anti-dust mite treatment and a deep fit for mattresses up to 40cm deep, making it a worthwhile choice for protecting a new or premium mattress.
The Simba Performance Mattress Protector is made by Simba, which holds the following accreditation:
The Simba Performance Mattress Protector combines a soft, quilted cotton surface with a wash-resistant anti-dust mite treatment to keep your mattress fresher for longer while adding a touch of extra comfort. If you're looking to protect a new mattress, suffer from allergies, or want a softer, more comfortable protector, this is the one to consider.
