The Simba Hybrid Kids is a 16cm deep hybrid children's mattress from Simba, made in Great Britain and built around 970 Aerocoil titanium alloy microsprings, topped with Fresher Feel Simbatex foam and CertiPUR certified foam layers. Designed specifically for growing children, it brings Simba's core spring and foam technology into a slim, lightweight profile suited to bunk beds and children's bed frames. The result is a medium feel mattress that supports all sleeping positions, stays cool throughout the night and is easy to care for.
A hybrid children's mattress best suited to growing children who need versatile medium support, a breathable sleep surface and a build that fits standard single bed frames and bunk beds.
Medium Feel - 3/6: The Goldilocks option, not too firm, not too soft. Medium is the most versatile firmness level, balancing comfort and support in a way that suits most sleeper types.

Vs firmer mattresses: The medium feel of the Hybrid Kids provides a more versatile sleep surface for children who move around during the night. A firm mattress would suit front sleepers specifically, but for most children, the medium feel offers a better balance of support and comfort across all sleeping positions.
Vs softer mattresses: The Hybrid Kids has more underlying spring support than a soft mattress, which helps maintain good spinal alignment as children grow. Softer options feel more plush but may not provide sufficient structure for growing bodies over the long term.
Vs adult hybrid mattresses: The Kids mattress is slimmer at 16cm deep, lighter, and shaped specifically for children's bed frames and bunk beds. Adult hybrid mattresses bring more springs and greater depth for grown sleepers. If your child is growing into adult sizes, a standard adult hybrid mattress would be the appropriate next step.
The Simba Hybrid Kids is backed by Simba's 10-year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Certified by the National Bed Federation and built to Simba's established quality standards, it is a mattress designed to support your child comfortably across its full working life. If it fails within that period, Simba will exchange it for a brand new one.
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved: Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing.
Get the most out of your new Simba Hybrid Kids by adding the Simba Performance Mattress Protector. Designed to protect against spills, stains, dust mites and everyday wear, this breathable and hypoallergenic protector helps keep your child's mattress fresh, clean and performing at its best for longer.
Soft, quiet and temperature-regulating, it adds an extra layer of comfort without changing the feel of the mattress, the perfect finishing touch to your child's sleep setup.
The Simba Hybrid Kids brings Simba's Aerocoil spring technology and certified hypoallergenic foam into a 16cm deep, bunk-bed-friendly package, all backed by a 10-year guarantee and a 200 night trial. If you want a well-built, NBF-approved mattress designed specifically for growing children, this is the one to choose.
Choosing a mattress online takes trust. That's why the Simba Hybrid Kids comes with a 200 night comfort guarantee, if it doesn't feel right, we'll exchange it. View the full mattress trial policy.
