A complete divan bed set from Relyon, made in the UK, including the Bridgwater medium (3/6) pillowtop natural pocket spring mattress with Dunlopillo Latex and Wool fillings, a platform top base upholstered in a choice of fabrics, flexible storage options, and a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee covering both base and mattress.

Not ideal for
Worth knowing:
Platform Top Base
What it is: A solid wooden platform top, upholstered in a wide range of standard and premium fabrics and colours. The base is supplied as a single package for Single size. For Double, King Size, and Super King it arrives in two packages and requires approximately 30 minutes to assemble with two people.
How it helps you: The platform top provides a firm, consistent surface across the entire underside of the mattress. This stable foundation helps the mattress perform as intended and can extend its lifespan by reducing uneven wear.
Storage Options
What it is: Five storage configurations are available: non storage; 2 full size drawers; 4 full size drawers (Double, King Size, and Super King only); 2+2 continental drawers (Double, King Size, and Super King only); end opening ottoman storage.
How it helps you: Standard drawers provide easy daily access to spare bedding without lifting the mattress, with a 9kg per drawer weight limit. The end opening ottoman opens from the foot of the bed, giving access to the full storage cavity beneath the base - weight limits vary by mattress size, so check the specification table before loading. Allow clear floor space at the foot of the bed when ordering an end opening ottoman model.
The Included Mattress: Relyon Bridgwater
What it is: A medium (3/6) pillowtop natural pocket spring mattress with 1,400 pocket springs, Dunlopillo Latex, a Wool Layer, a Soft White Fibre Layer, and a recycled Eco Support Layer. The cover is 44% polyester and 56% viscose, hand tufted, finished with 2 rows of side stitching, and treated with a chemical fire retardant. The mattress has air vents, 4 handles (2 per side), edge support, and measures 30cm in depth.
How it helps you: The pillowtop layer delivers an immediate, cushioned softness as you settle in, while the 1,400 pocket springs beneath provide responsive, targeted support that moves with your body rather than your partner's. Dunlopillo Latex is a naturally derived material that contours to your body shape under pressure, relieving pressure points without retaining heat - and it holds its shape over time far better than synthetic alternatives. The Wool Layer regulates temperature naturally, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. The recycled Eco Support Layer adds a further comfort and support foundation while reducing the environmental footprint of the mattress. Edge support extends the usable sleeping surface to the very edge of the mattress. This is a no-turn mattress - rotate head to toe regularly to extend its lifespan.

Vs bed frames: A divan set sits lower to the floor and has a more minimal visual profile than most bed frames. The base is fully upholstered with no exposed legs or joints. This set includes the mattress, whereas bed frame buyers purchase their mattress separately. Bed frames offer more design variety and a more visible aesthetic, but do not include integrated base support for the mattress or the storage flexibility available here.
Vs other divan sets at Land of Beds: The Bridgwater is distinguished by two things that are less common at its price point: Dunlopillo Latex as a primary comfort material, and natural fillings throughout. Dunlopillo has over 90 years of heritage in latex production and is widely regarded as one of the most consistent, durable latex materials available. Combined with Wool for temperature regulation and 1,400 pocket springs for support, this is a mattress built around natural performance rather than synthetic alternatives. The pillowtop construction and hand tufting are also markers of traditional craftsmanship that you would more typically find at a higher price point.
Vs premium natural options: The Bridgwater shares the same core philosophy as higher-end natural divan sets - latex, wool, pocket springs, hand tufted construction. The difference at higher price points is typically a greater depth of natural fillings, additional layers such as Cashmere or Silk, and a higher spring count, rather than any compromise in the quality of the individual materials used here.
The Relyon Bridgwater divan set is backed by Relyon's 10 year manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, covering both the base and the mattress. For a set built with natural materials including Dunlopillo Latex, Wool, and hand tufted construction, a 10 year guarantee reflects the quality of what is underneath you.
National Bed Federation (NBF) Approved - Independently verified to meet strict UK standards for quality, safety and responsible manufacturing. Every Relyon product carrying this mark has been tested and approved by the industry's own regulatory body.
Made in Britain - Independently certified confirmation that this divan set is manufactured in the UK.
Manufacturing Guild Mark - Awarded by the National Bed Federation to manufacturers who demonstrate consistently high standards of production quality. It is a mark that has to be earned through ongoing assessment, not simply applied for.
The Relyon Bridgwater is a medium feel (3/6) divan bed set built around natural performance - Dunlopillo Latex for pressure relief, Wool for temperature regulation, and 1,400 pocket springs for targeted support - all hand tufted and made in the UK, backed by a 10 year guarantee. If you want natural fillings, genuine latex, and craftsmanship that shows in the detail, this is the set to consider.
